Spreewald communities drive out the winter
Just like the Lehd’schen on February 14, the Radduscher also set out this weekend to finally drive away the winter that wanted to know it this year! In Raddusch, it turned into a real marathon, as around 75 Zamperers marched through the village on Saturday, only to parade through the village again on Sunday with a strong carnival procession. Somehow it seemed to have worked, because winter was running out of steam: The temperatures finally got back into the plus range – in the evening, snow and ice were history!
On the way, the participants were generously catered for by the Radduschers. The prize for the best costume went to Peter Müller with his cosmonaut suit, while the Raddusch youth had the most in the Klimperkasse, for which they also received a prize.
