Burger Höfeadvent
The traditional Burger “Advent on the farms” took place on December 13. Visitors mostly used the shuttle bus to get to the farms, some of which were located at a distance. Drivers sometimes had a problem because the narrow access roads were often blocked with parking.
A total of ten partners took part in this event. The Spreewaldhof Liersch (photos) was one of the busiest: Here there were many insights into Christmas crafts. Christmas tree baubles were offered in the same way as Easter egg decorating, and spinning and basket weaving were also demonstrated. The old bakery was very busy with tray bakes and coffee. There were craft corners in the barn, where Allegra Liersch (16) created a Christmas atmosphere on the piano. Children surrounded the illuminated boxes with geese, ducks and chickens as well as the magnificent rabbits.
The guests were impressed by the lovingly restored courtyard complex in Burger Erste Kolonie, which is located directly on the Spree and is rarely found by tourists due to its location.
