Byhleguhrer Dorfchronik erschienen

Byhleguhr village chronicle published

A walk through Byhleguhr’s streets and alleyways, with stories of joy and sorrow, happiness and misfortune. Contemporary witnesses provide insights into things forgotten but worth preserving, documented with photos and evidence.

Under the direction of Byhleguhrer Monika Schernikau, what could still be found was collected. The town was first mentioned in a document in 1315; it is a Germanization of the Wendish Běła Góra and was called Geroburg during the Nazi era. Byhleguhre belongs to the municipality of Byhleguhre/Byhlen in the district of Dahme-Spreewald.

“Byhleguhre then and now”, published in 2025 by Monika Schernikau.
