Starting now and through the Vetschau Christmas Market, an exhibition by amateur photographers from Vetschau will be on display in the gallery corridors during the administration’s business hours. Under the theme \u201cA Mood-Filled Summer,\u201d everyone had the chance to share their favorite photo. Administrative trainee Nicolas Bloch helped out by framing all the photos and resizing them. Deputy Mayor Yvonne Schwerdtner welcomed the two dozen exhibitors and visitors. \u201cThe last one was the traditional 2019 photo exhibition; now it\u2019s set to take place regularly again,\u201d she said. The winner is determined by ballot and is essentially anonymous, since the photos are labeled only with numbers.The members of the Vetschau Photography Club made a significant contribution to the exhibition, but children\u2014such as 12-year-old Jesco Mania from Naundorf\u2014also participated by submitting a photo taken with a cell phone. Peter Munzik, a former resident of Vetschau who has lived in Thuringia for decades, also contributed a photo.
