href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sorben\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Sorbs<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wenden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Wends<\/a>. Over the centuries, this Slavic minority has been able to keep its precious customs and traditions alive. The Sorbian\/Wendish language is also still alive. The people of the Spreewald like to call it their Spreewald costume. Typical of this valuable traditional costume &#8211; consisting of silk fabrics, lace and velvet &#8211; are the magnificent floral motifs on the neckerchiefs, the hoods (headdresses) and the skirts. The festive costumes are often worn on festive occasions, this also applies to Lehde.
